5.14.2012 Crippled WOD

The Crippled wod isn’t an actual wod…I made it up because I chipped a bone in my wrist and have inflammation in my joints doing cleans on Friday. I’m beyond depressed that I can’t do anything which involves my wrist…which is A LOT!!!

buy out 500m row 7:20RX - Fastest girl time the whole day! This triumph felt great because I have been feeling like I have been not performing my best. I also received a PR on my backsquat yesterday…175lbs! Only up 5lbs, but hey, 5lbs is 5lbs. 

4 days in a row at the box have really cashed my shoulders…1 more day and then 2 rest days…can’t say I’m not looking forward to it!

05.9.12 WOD - Chocolate Kale

13 Min Amrap - 4 rds. +10 burpees RX

  • 1 Rope Climb
  • 10 KB Swings
  • 15 Burpees

Rope climbs definitely need some work. Getting to the top is fine…getting down is a whole other story. I took some tips from my coach, but ended up going down like a firefighter going down the pole for a fire. Luckily no rope burns! 

Annd….I totally rocked my bright blue leopard spandex - I figure why not express my personality with a ton of color!

05/08/12 WOD

Overall was happy with how I did in this wod. I know I could have at least gotten to 9 rounds, but I lost my balance on one of the ohs and busted my ass on the floor and almost smashed the bar in my face! Until next time…

1 burpee squat clean jerk
I had sweat seeping out of every pore in my body! I didn’t think this workout looked so bad on the board, but damn!  Looks like my bun is going to fly off my head in this pic!
