Fit as F*CK Primal Challenge
Saturday was the start of our “Fit as F*CK Primal Challenge” I was determined to PR in 3 areas that have been troubling me. And I did!!! 60 air squats 30 ring dips 15 burpees 3 rounds for time - 15:45 Bleh! This killed me! After being sick for 3 days with this horrendous flu I decided to go to Crossfit. I thought it was a great idea at the time…yeah not so much. I felt horrible after the WOD and feel horrible again today : (

8 Power Cleans 8 Front Squats 8 Pistols 8 HSPU’s 4 rounds for time 15:45 I really need to get some stronger legs! By the time I finished the wod I had dropped down to 65lbs! WTF?!

Time Management 12/20/2011
1 Min Row 5 Snatches Goal 1,000 meters for time 8:48  This one was a fun one. It took a few people to understand to take the whole minute to do the snatches because other wise you would do you snatches in 15-20 secs and by the time you got to the row machine you only had 30 secs to row.

Cindy 20 min amrap - 9rds 5 pull ups 10 push ups 15 squats 20 min amrap - 2 rounds + 2 toes to bar 30 dbl unders 20 toes to bar The second wod killed me! I busted open both hands and every toe to bar stung! I have my hands bandaged up at work because getting a paper cut on an open wound doesn’t sound like a whole lot of fun. So this means everyone at work gets to make fun of me.

We are lifting a ton of weight in remembrance of a fellow coach at our box. He passed away yesterday in a car accident. RIP Neil! You will be missed by many!

One of those days...
If someone were to ask me when I was 18 - What would I be doing in my life at 27 … my answer would have been married with 2 kids. Coming from a po-dunk town it’s just what you did. After many heartaches and bad decisions I decided to start a new life in the city. That was at 22…fast forward 5 years later and all I have seemed to add were more heartaches - but less bad decisions....

At Least I'm Good At Something...
After one extremely tough week at CrossFit, I was beginning to feel like I couldn't do what I'm capable of. Every lift seemed ridiculously hard for some reason...but then came a week filled with double unders...my specialty!
Jake: I'm officially hiring you as my double under coach. I was 2 seconds away from strangling myself with that damn jump rope in todays WOD. Fees and rates are subject to change. Satisfaction guaranteed....I hope!
Me: Jump rope again today?! Woohoo!!! We had em yesterday too!! I'm totally skipping class today now! I accept 3 forms of payment. 1. sushi 2. sushi 3. more sushi. btw I eat my body weight in sushi.
Jake: I accept the terms and conditions! This sounds like a pretty lucrative deal for the both of us, and we should probably get started ASAP!
Me: the WOD was awesome! First 50 unbroken! 40 one mess up 30 unbroken 20 one mess up 10 unbroken. Tried to go all unbroken : (
